Aaron Hernandez Convicted of 1st-degree murder

Now that former New England Patriots tight end Aaron Hernandez has been convicted and sentenced to life in prison with no shot at parole, I’m going to give you my thoughts on the case. They are:

1. Why did the defense only call three witnesses? Why didn’t they put forth a better effort? Right now no one knows, but the prosecution, even with circumstantial evidence, still managed to get a jury of twelve to convict Mr. Hernandez of first-degree homicide.

2. Did the jury know about the other case, the double-homicide in 2012? If so, they might have been biased, therefore depriving Mr. Hernandez of a fair trial.

I expect at some point in the future that there will be a retrial or even a overturning of the verdict because of these facts.
