Week 2 Good, Bad, and Ugly

Week two of the NFL season was known for not being good for the heavy favorites. Upsets ran the day. Here are the good, bad, and ugly this week:

Good: The New Orleans Saints. They dismantled the Dallas Cowboys and Derek Carr is making Raider Nation think “Why did we cut him last year?” Alvin Kamara was solid while the defense held the Cowboys to only one touchdown. Honorable Mentions: Arizona crushes the Rams; Las Vegas comes from ten down in the fourth quarter to stun Baltimore.

Bad: The New York Giants decision to go for the two point conversion twice when they didn’t have to. Heard of emergency kickers, Coach Daboll? Honorable Mention: The Rams’ defense; Bo Nix’s inability to lead Denver to more than two field goals; Will Levis thinking this is rugby when he was reckless with the football.

Downright Ugly (possibly the ugliest in a couple of years): Ja’Marr Chase channelling his inner child when he was begging the ref to throw a flag for defensive pass interference. The ref threw the flag all right: Unsportsmanlike Conduct on Ja’Marr Chase. It’s only a matter of when he will be in Head Coach’s doghouse. Dishonorable Mention: The fans who justify this kind of behavior.
